Miles That Matter for Military Mental Health
Support The Headstrong Project by supporting my journey to the NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon on April 26
Running with Purpose
I’m running the NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon - my first half marathon - and supporting The Headstrong Project, a nonprofit that provides free, effective mental health care to veterans. Too many service members struggle with invisible wounds and isolation, and Headstrong ensures they get the support they deserve - without cost, stigma, or wait times.
By donating, you’re helping veterans access life-changing therapy and care. Thank you for supporting this mission and cheering me on! I’ll be sharing training updates along the way!

The Headstrong Project is a national nonprofit organization delivering confidential, barrier-free, and trauma-focused mental health care to veterans, service members, and their families. Headstrong is driven by a single mission: to help our nation’s heroes Triumph Over Trauma. They provide evidence-based care for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and related mental health challenges through a network of over 315 licensed clinicians across 20 states and Washington, D.C., with telehealth access nationwide.
Headstrong does not discriminate by discharge status, gender, income, age, branch of service, duty era, or zip code. Their services are cost-free (30 sessions) and tailored to each client through a personalized care model that prioritizes cultural competence, clinical excellence, and rapid access to care.
